WHAT IS THE STEEL STRUCTURAL SYSTEM & WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?

In Simple terms the existing ceiling joists are only designed to support the weight of the ceiling & roof if you cut the trusses in the roof additional supports are needed to transfer the new load.Inadequate structural work can cause the roof to sagg, cracks in the walls and ceilings below and this can be very costly to repair. the steel structural system is the only structural that will be certified by an engineer.
